British Aviation Company - a very different AGM

The Context

Our client, a large British aviation company, was keen to do something a bit different for their 2022 hybrid AGM in an effort to make it more engaging for their shareholders.  We planned and arranged the meeting in one of their airport hangars, which meant giving due consideration to a number of different factors including security, registration, connectivity, furniture and even restrooms.

The Project

Our client wanted to give its shareholders the option to join the meeting either in person or online via a bespoke AGM app. For maximum flexibility, we also provided the facility to participate in the meeting via telephone.

 

 

 

 

The Outcome

The question process was designed to group topics together, thus making the meeting more streamlined and efficient.  The official AGM was followed by a hugely successful ‘Meet the Board’ session – one hundred employees were chosen via a ballot to attend a live in-person question time with the Board in intimate groups of 25 people each.
With this being the new Chair’s first AGM meeting, one of the most important elements of our remit this year was to provide a seamless onboarding process for them and ensure all their needs were catered for.
